"Why," you ask? Because we want profile pages to have freedom of customization, but also to have some consistency. This way, when anyone visits a deviant, they know they can always find the art in the top left, and personal info in the top right.
Don't forget, restraints can bring out the creativity in you!

Have you heard of the recent ability to change your username?
I'm so happy they finally, FINALLY allowed it! I just wish it happened, oh, I don't know a WEEK EARLIER! When I still had my subscription, which conviniently expired 3 days ago and I don't know when I'll be able to get a new one!
I always wished to change my username to my REAL name!
What about you? Are you happy with this opportunity or not? Should there be equal chance for everyone to change their username at least once and every other time you had to have a sub?
